料理に使うハーブには色々ある、月桂樹の葉はローレルで肉や魚料理によく使う。そのほかにもハーブはあるが、代表的なものはサイモン&ガーファンクルのスカーボロー・フェアに収録されている。0:20 are you going to Scarborough Fair? parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme. remember me to one who lives there. スカーブラの市（いち）にいくのかい？パセリ、セージ、ローズマリー、タイム、、ハーブが沢山あるね。スカーブラの人によろしく言っといてくれよ。注 thyme の発音だけに注意すればいい。
