イギリスを英語でなんと言うか？

イギリスの正式名称はUnited Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland(グレートブリテン及び北アイルランド連合王国)ですが、United Kingdomで済ませる人が多くいます。これよりも簡単な言い方がEnglandです。大ブリテン島のすべてを指す言葉です。この感覚は日本人がUnited Kingdom(UK)をイギリスを呼ぶのと同じです。結論としてはイギリスは正式名称以外にUnited Kingdom, UK, England, Great Britainのように呼ばれます。0;09 where do you come from?
