M.D. は医者の肩書きのこと。Doctor of Medicine の略、と言っても正確にはラテン語の Medicinæ Doctor の略。Ph.D. も同じで Doctor of Philosophy、つまりラテン語の Philosophiæ Doctor の略。0:10 she's ready for her MD. 彼女は獣医さん（産婆さん、産婦人科医）になれる。
