ante について

ante の同義語として考えられるのは bet, wager, stake, などです。ポーカーするときの掛け金だと思えばいいでしょう。よく聞かれる表現は up the ante（掛け金を上乗せする） ですが、亜流表現も沢山あります。0:19 you used to be on the other side of this. you came out and said, 'mae culpa, I changed my mind.
