wind is blowing from the Aegean...

ずいぶん古風な歌詞だなと思ったら、案の定、古い詞でした。歌と言うものは基本的にはまず歌詞ありきなので、古い詩にメロディーをつけることがよくあります。海ゆかばは大伴家持（おおとものやかもち）の長歌にメロディーをつけたもの。amazing grace も1700年代の詩に1800年代になってからメロディーをつけたもの。、、、、ここで気になるのがセレネードの位置関係、男性は庭から多分二階にいるであろう女性を見上げて恋歌を歌う。プロポーズにしても、男性が方膝をついて女性に結婚を申し込む、、、ご飯と味噌汁の置き方のように実用的じゃないの？（いつでも種は蒔けるが、畑は土が肥えているうちが勝負だからなぁ）と思うけど、それなりの理由があるのかもしれない。注；Aegean sea エーゲ海
