手首を切るを英語でなんと言うか？

問題は切るという動詞。slash です。slash といえば切る以外にも値段を大幅に下げる、予算を大幅に削る、アンドを意味するスラッシュ / このような記号、、というような意味が頭に浮かびます。0:15 officials said the 63-year old attempted to slash one of his wrists first. 関係者の話では無くなった俳優のロビン・ウィリアムズ氏はまず手首を切って自殺しようとした。
