大勢(おおぜい)のを英語でなんと言うか？

一つの言い方としてa throng of, throngs ofがあります。これはa lot of, lots ofと同様に単数でも複数でも使われます、、、というよりは言い方が未だに確定されていない、と解釈したほうがいいのかもしれません。at all cost, at all costsも単複両方で使われていますが、さがせばまだいくらでもあるでしょう。下のビデオの表題はThrongs of Chavez fans queue to view him in state.（チャベス大統領の最後の姿を一目見ようと大勢の国民がつめかけている。）のように複数形となっています。
